This accessibility statement applies to the Invest Plymouth website at

This website is run by Plymouth Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software

Document files created before 23rd September 2018 are exempt from accessibility regulations and may not be fully compliant. Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

Video banner contrast

Several pages use text overlaid on looping video banners. Parts of the video may occasionally turn a colour that is of insufficient contrast between it and the text. A pause/play button has been added to let users freeze the video on a high-contrast frame.
